This was done for the Technical Services Round Table committee of the Oklahoma Library Association in 2016. The committee were aware that topics for the conference were somewhat dry, and they wanted something that would capture attention and convey a sense of humor. The theme was a riff off the title for the film “We need to Talk About Kevin.” The intensity and drama of the imagery is appropriate for the subject. The technical services side of libraries is scary to the uninitiated. 

The challenge I faced was that I had to convey a lot of information in the signage. Going heavy on the black allowed for plenty of negative space for text.
